On Wednesday nights during the (urrr) late 80’s early 90’s’s my brother Marcel and our best pal Jeff Baird would hop into Jenny Beaty’s/Zubick’s ? old car and head downtown to Queen and Bathurst  to The Big Bop to dance to 70’s Rock downstairs and 80’s and 90’s alternative - Britpop and Ska upstairs and drink cheap draft and Red baron’s until we “loaded” into the car for more mischief. In its reincarnation as a night club I saw a lot of great U.S indie bands in The Reverb and some bloodcurdling Metal and footapping SKa in The Katherdral, althou Holy Joe’s is still just the weird fountain room to me.
